Each culture comes in an 8-ounce plastic jar containing approximately 20 mixed-age isopods, along with a starter mix of decomposing leaves, sweetgum seed pods, acorn caps, and springtails to support them in transit and kick start their new home after arrival. This small jar is not intended for long-term housing, but it provides a safe temporary home for a short time after arrival while you prepare their permanent enclosure.
