Leafy Shrimp is a botanical-centered ecosystem culture built around natural leaf litter, seed pods, and our Hardy Neocaridina Shrimp.
 
This culture uses the same diverse leaf mix as our Leafy Bugs, but instead of scuds, this culture includes Phillips Fish Works Hardy Cherry Shrimp, making it an excellent addition to any natural aquarium.
 
Packed in Two Separate Bags
Each Leafy Shrimp culture comes with two breather bags, packed separately to keep the shrimp safe during shipping and to maintain the quality of the botanical material.

Bag 2 of 2 - Botanical Portion
This bag contains:
A mixed leaf litter blend that may includelive oak • willow oak • red oak • sweetgum • maple • cottonwood • other
2 sweetgum seed pods
The botanical bag is moist but does not contain standing water.Keeping the leaves damp instead of submerged helps preserve the natural microbes and prevents the material "popping" the bag during shipping.
